JOHN S. ARNOLD, guitarist, teaches guitar at Moravian University and Lebanon Valley College, and has previously taught at the Charter High School for the Arts in Bethlehem and Vermont’s Bennington College. In addition to numerous solo performances, he is an active chamber musician, performing with the Pennsylvania Sinfonia and Allentown Symphony Orchestras, SATORI, the Gabriel Chamber Ensemble, and the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival. Mr. Arnold holds an Artist Diploma degree from the Hartt School, University of Hartford, where he studied with Richard Provost; and Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Guitar Performance and Guitar Pedagogy from Shenandoah Conservatory of Shenandoah University, where his major teacher was Glenn Caluda. Mr. Arnold has published arrangements for guitar with Clear Note Publications and Guitar Chamber Music Press.

DR. NORA SUGGS, flutist, is a graduate of Houston’s Rice University and Baylor College of Medicine, with extensive private education in music and degrees in biology, English literature, medicine, and surgery. She has played in England, Canada, Italy, Japan, Alaska, and throughout the continental United States; and is now active as a teacher, recitalist and chamber musician in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley. Dr. Suggs is the flutist and Artistic Director of the chamber music ensemble SATORI, and for over 20 years has performed and recorded in duos with classical guitar. She has taught on the music faculty at Bethlehem’s Moravian University and at the Community Music School of the Lehigh Valley. Dr. Suggs also plays shakuhachi, a traditional Japanese bamboo flute, and has received Shihan (Master) level performance and teaching certification on that instrument after extensive study both in Japan and the USA.
